Webinar: AI in Cybersecurity a Double-Edged Sword

The AI Arms Race: Are You Equipped to Defend Against AI-Enhanced Cyber Threats?
Webinar to highlight the need for organisations to transform their Security Operations Centres to combat the growing threat of AI-enhanced cyberattacks

As AI continues to revolutionise various industries, its impact on cybersecurity is becoming increasingly pronounced. To address the challenges and opportunities presented by AI in this field, Concentrix and Palo Alto Networks are hosting a webinar titled ‘The AI Arms Race: Are You Equipped to Defend Against AI-Enhanced Cyber Threats?’ on 29 August 2024.

The 45-minute discussion aims to shed light on the critical need for organisations to transform their Security Operations Centres (SOCs) to combat the growing threat of AI-enhanced cyberattacks. As AI technologies advance, they open new avenues for cybercriminals to exploit vulnerabilities at an unprecedented pace, putting additional strain on already overburdened security teams.

Dominique Gagnon, Vice President of Managed Security Services at Concentrix, will moderate the panel discussion. Joining him are Rishi Rajpal, Vice President of Global Security at Concentrix, and Tom Barsi, Vice President of Ecosystems at Palo Alto Networks, who will share their insights on how organisations can leverage AI to bolster their cyber defences.

Fighting AI with AI: Taking a holistic approach

A key focus of the webinar will be the concept of “fighting AI with AI”. The panellists will explore how a holistic approach to SOC transformation can eliminate silos and gaps that often invite threats. They will discuss strategies for securing AI systems, using precision AI for defence and protecting against rogue AI.

One of the main topics to be addressed is the use of AI and automation to prioritise threats effectively. The speakers will explain how these technologies can dramatically reduce response times from days to minutes, a crucial factor in mitigating potential damage from cyberattacks.

Another important aspect of the discussion will be the delivery of robust security measures for users, applications, and devices on a global scale. As organisations increasingly adopt remote and distributed work models, ensuring comprehensive protection across all endpoints has become more critical than ever.

The webinar will also cover best practices for staying ahead of attackers through AI and machine learning-driven protection. This proactive approach is essential in today's rapidly evolving threat landscape, where traditional reactive measures are often insufficient.

For technology and cybersecurity professionals, this webinar presents an opportunity to gain valuable insights into the latest trends and strategies in AI-powered cybersecurity. As organisations grapple with the dual challenge of harnessing AI's potential while defending against its misuse, events like this become crucial for staying informed and prepared.

The webinar is scheduled for 6pm London time (GMT +1) on Thursday, 29 August 2024. For more information and to register, click here.
