Meet CyberWhiz

CyberWhiz provides effective IoT cybersecurity technologies for all three pillars of IoT - edge, mobile applications and cloud - to ensure that edge devices remain compliant to regulations, including the UK's PSTI, EU's RED(EN18031) and Cyber Resilience Act (CRA).

The organisation manages cybersecurity across these three pillars to comply with IoT security regulations and monitor their cyber states constantly. 

It also secures any mobile application to make them compliant to OWASP Mobile Top 10 through CyberWhiz Mobile and monitors all edge devices and mobile applications’ cyber states through the CyberWhiz Defence Centre. This means that manufacturers of IoT applications can comply with R155&R156 and CRA regulations.

Please could you introduce yourself?

As the CEO of CyberWhiz, I lead a company in which we are creating IoT cybersecurity technologies for the three pilllars of IoT, which are edge, mobile and cloud. 

We are helping IoT device manufacturers to be 100% compliant with the upcoming IoT cybersecurity regulations like CRA.

What were the deciding factors for your choice to sponsor the event?

As CyberWhiz, we have just completed our flip-up process to UK. 

Before spinning out from Beko, which is UK’s #1 home appliance brand, we had witnessed growing awareness about IoT cybersecurity in the UK. 

It was a natural place to start our new venture. We've worked closely with the IoTSF for several years, creating partnerships within its ecosystem and helping Beko to become the first white goods company in the world to receive a 'silver level' certification in the IASME product cybersecurity assessment in the UK. 

That was followed by full ETSI EN303645 compatibility in 2023. 

In 2024, the UK was the first to mandate cybersecurity standards for IoT devices, which form part of the Product Security and Telecommunications Infrastructure (PSTI) Act. 

The UK environment has therefore become the most attractive place to market our products and services, which is why we wanted to sponsor Cyber LIVE and say hello to London.

What do you hope to achieve through the event?

We hope to create new customers, network and marketing opportunities, and increase our brand reputation and awareness.

What emerging trends do you believe will shape the future of the cybersecurity industry over the next decade?

I believe that IoT cybersecurity regulations, post quantum cryptography and AI will shape the next decade.
