Epicor partners with Geotab and Buildxact

Epicor says the partnerships will help with the unique needs of building suppliers in today's unpredictable supply chain environment.

Epicor, an industry-specific enterprise software provider to promote business growth, has announced two new strategic independent software vendor (ISV) partnerships with Geotab and Buildxact. The direct integrations with the Epicor BisTrack platform, built specifically to help with the unique needs of building suppliers, will deliver powerful cloud capabilities to better anticipate and respond to customer needs, and more effectively manage and grow business operations.

The company also introduced new Epicor BisTrack integration with the Epicor Enterprise Content Management (ECM) module. This gives building suppliers industry-leading content management and intelligent data capture to digitize and automate paper-based processes – such as sales order entry and invoicing – to save time and increase efficiency.

Himanshu Palsule, Epicor president and CTO said: “In today’s unpredictable supply chain environment, building suppliers need ways to stand out from their competition in quality, responsiveness, availability, and pricing. That means finding ways to pivot quickly – to adopt new technologies and business models, and optimize work environments and practices.

“The Geotab and Buildxact partnerships, along with Epicor ECM integration, give Epicor BisTrack customers an end-to-end solution for even greater real-time visibility, operational insights, and process automation to help make smarter decisions for business growth.”

Record consumer and industry demand for building supplies over the past year, coupled with the resulting hikes in lumber and materials prices, have highlighted the importance of a highly optimized supply chain. It's also shone a bright light on the role an automated, data-driven and cloud-enabled supply chain management strategy will play going forward.

The new ISV partnerships and Epicor ECM integration extend Epicor BisTrack capabilities and address these challenges, including cloud-based functionality to manage fleets and protect assets, streamline estimating, ordering, and job management, and automate data capture for greater efficiencies and accuracy.

Notable features include:

Geotab Telematics and Fleet Management

Epicor BisTrack seamlessly integrates with Geotab’s award-winning telematics platform to help maintain safety and compliance while also boosting productivity and efficiency by helping increase vehicle uptime, lowering operating costs and optimizing route and dispatch management.

Buildxact Estimating and Construction Management

Buildxact delivers a cloud-based estimating and construction management platform for home builders and contractors to perform takeoffs, manage estimates, and place orders with lumber and building suppliers. Through Epicor BisTrack and Buildxact, Home Builders and their Suppliers will become more tightly connected enabling greater order accuracy and speed that gives sales teams more time for prospecting and building relationships, and less time spent on administrative tasks.

Epicor ECM for Automated, Intelligent Data Capture

Epicor ECM integration with Epicor BisTrack transforms paper-based systems into a fully digitized repository for all file types, eliminating the inefficiencies, inaccuracies, and double-handling associated with manual processes. The module leverages machine learning to automatically classify documents and submit to the right touchless workflow process for indexing, uploading, and approvals for AP. Additional options include a full-featured mobile app, integration to Epicor Kinetic Financials,  PackageWorks for tailoring document packages for each recipient, Forms to replace paper-entry forms, and a connector for DocuSign eSignature.
