Exclusive Networks has signed two agreements with AWS that enhance its cloud capabilities and provide advanced cybersecurity solutions

As cyber threats become more sophisticated, businesses increasingly seek integrated security solutions to protect cloud-based applications, workloads and data. Cloud security is a major concern, driving providers to enhance their cybersecurity measures continuously.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) has taken a strategic step in this direction by partnering with Exclusive Networks, a cybersecurity and cloud solutions distributor that operates in over 50 countries, providing value-added distribution services and connecting cybersecurity vendors with partners to deliver cutting-edge security solutions. Exclusive Networks offers consultancy, technical support, training, and managed security services to help organisations mitigate cyber risks and enhance digital resilience.

The collaboration involves two agreements: one making Exclusive Networks an authorised AWS distributor in the European Economic Area (including Switzerland), and the other enrolling the company in AWS’s Designated Seller of Record (DSOR) programme. This dual agreement aims to expand the distribution of AWS infrastructure and security services while enabling vendors to access the AWS Marketplace through Exclusive Networks.

Expanding AWS cloud services through European channels

The first agreement positions Exclusive Networks as a key distributor of AWS cloud services, working through its established network of value-added resellers and systems integrators. This includes access to AWS’s cloud infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) offerings, which provide on-demand virtualised computing environments. The partnership allows Exclusive Networks’ channel partners to leverage AWS’s full suite of cloud services, including computing, storage, machine learning and analytics tools.

Additionally, Exclusive Networks will offer AWS training, certification and professional services to its reseller network, enabling partners to build expertise in AWS security and cloud solutions.

Jesper Trolle, CEO of Exclusive Networks, highlights the significance of the agreement, stating: "These agreements with AWS are a major step forward in Exclusive Networks' digital roadmap, enabling us to continue innovating and offering the best solutions and services through premier channels."

The second agreement brings Exclusive Networks into AWS’s Designated Seller of Record (DSOR) programme. This framework allows Exclusive Networks to act as a global distributor for cybersecurity vendors within the AWS Marketplace, AWS’s digital platform for third-party software solutions. The Marketplace provides enterprise customers with an easy way to procure and deploy security tools that run on AWS infrastructure.

By joining the DSOR programme, Exclusive Networks gains a stronger presence in the cloud security ecosystem, simplifying the procurement process for customers while ensuring compliance with AWS policies. The agreement also strengthens AWS’s market position in European cybersecurity, as Exclusive Networks’ channel relationships span over 25,000 resellers and systems integrators across the region.

AWS operates on a shared responsibility model for cloud security between the company and its customers

AWS operates on a shared responsibility model for cloud security, meaning security obligations are divided between AWS and its customers - AWS secures the cloud infrastructure (hardware, software, networking), while customers secure their data, applications, and configurations, ensuring compliance, identity management, and encryption.

This partnership ensures that resellers and enterprises can access security solutions that align with AWS compliance standards, helping to safeguard cloud-based operations.

Furthermore, Exclusive Networks will provide technical support, consulting services and training to assist partners in developing their AWS capabilities. The company will facilitate access to AWS certification pathways and technical resources, enabling resellers to accelerate cloud adoption while maintaining security best practices.

Trolle reinforces the company’s commitment to this strategy, stating: "We are determined to pursue our mission to expand growth opportunities for both our vendors and channel partners."
