Digital architecture for governance

An announcement at the exhibition is GovTech 1.0, a new framework intended to accelerate government modernisation. It is built on four pillars:

  • Application intelligentisation
  • Data harmonisation
  • Platform standardisation
  • Network broadbandisation
Allen Tang, President of ICT Marketing and Solution Sales Department for Huawei Middle East and Central Asia

The framework is designed to assist public agencies in developing end-to-end AI capabilities, strengthening data governance and streamlining citizen services through intelligent cloud platforms.

Allen Tang, President of ICT Marketing and Solution Sales Department for Huawei Middle East and Central Asia, explains that the initiative reflects Huawei's commitment to partnerships and national digital strategies.

“GovTech1.0 framework is a strategic blueprint designed to fast-track government modernisation,” he says.

Collaboration is central to Huawei’s regional strategy and it is using GITEX to introduce more than 20 new industry-specific solutions and 30 products focused on SMEs.

Sean Yang, Huawei’s Global Cyber Security and Privacy Officer

In cloud computing, Huawei is moving from cloud-native to AI-native architectures with Model-as-a-Service (MaaS) and integrated platforms like ModelArts and DataArts Studio.

These tools could help enterprises to democratise AI model development, orchestration and data analytics.

This activity supports Huawei’s long-term vision to create an open, trusted and intelligent ecosystem that can transform industries and strengthen digital economies.
