Meet the speaker: Eleanor Ludlam, Partner at DAC Beachcroft

As we are only three days away from Cyber LIVE, we take a look at the speakers we have lined up such as, Eleanor Ludlam, Partner at DAC Beachcroft LLP

Eleanor Ludlam is a Partner at DAC Beachcroft, and specialises in cyber and data risk, with significant experience of acting for Insurers and Insureds operating in a range of sectors including banking, manufacturing, technology and media.  

She has a background in both commercial litigation and data protection which provides her with unique expertise when advising clients in relation to privacy litigation, cyber and data risk matters. 

Some of Ludlam’s recent experience include, guiding a major motor industry company through a ransomware incident which required regulatory notification and takedown notices to be issued. Plus, defending an IT company in relation to third party claims arising out of a ransomware incident and pursuing a recovery action in respect of the same.

She spent 15 months on secondment to the Global Privacy team of one of the world’s largest insurers. She has also spent 6 months on secondment to the Global Privacy team of a SaaS technology company. 

Ludlam also holds the IAPP Certified Information Privacy Professional (Europe) (CIPP/E) qualification and is a winner of the Most Inspiring Women in Cyber Awards 2021.
