CrowdStrike Falcon Go aims to revolutionise cyber protection

The cybersecurity leader unveils its new AI-powered cybersecurity protection for businesses to facilitate better ransomware prevention and data protection

CrowdStrike is aiming to revolutionise cybersecurity for small and medium businesses (SMBs) with the release of CrowdStrike Falcon Go.

The new product is designed to deliver cybersecurity protection that SMBs need to prevent ransomware attacks and data breaches. SMBs should then be able to quickly and easily deploy industry-leading protection to stop the modern cyberattacks that ineffective

With a few clicks, SMBs can quickly and easily deploy protection to stop the modern cyberattacks that ineffective antivirus products miss. By bringing AI-powered cybersecurity to organisations of all sizes, CrowdStrike is helping set a new standard in SMB cybersecurity.

Securing AI-native cybersecurity

According to CrowdStrike, traditional antivirus used by SMBs cannot keep up with ransomware and cyberattacks that only continue to escalate in volume and sophistication. In recent years, so-called ‘bad actors’ have become a lot more sophisticated at demanding payments, or breaching company systems. They are near-impossible to trace, which only enables their activities to expand.

CrowdStrike’s AI platform, Falcon, was launched to provide customers with endpoint protection and threat intelligence. It uses AI and machine learning to keep devices protected from threats that are known, unknown and complex. Powered by this AI, Falcon Go is designed to deliver best-in-class protection and recently scored 100% ransomware prevention in SE Labs testing.

Falcon Go will also download and install in seconds so that organisations can immediately protect their business and stop breaches, ensuring that cybersecurity is made easier for users of all technical skill levels. It also aims to allow SMBs to focus on growing their business instead of worrying about cyberattacks irreversibly damaging their operations.

The new release of Falcon Go ensures every dollar invested in cyber defence counts, allowing SMBs to focus on growing their business instead of worrying about cyberattacks. Falcon Go secures SMBs with AI-native cybersecurity that:

Falcon Go is able to deploy immediately, with pre-figured protection making it easier to immediately deploy, secure and manage devices. It is also able to instantly verify protection, threat activity and product efficacy in preventing attacks. Its full visibility and control of USB media also aims to prevent accidental and intentional company data leaks.

CrowdStrike has been continually committed to finding solutions for the increase in cyberattacks. Its earlier 2023 report found that 62% of interactive cyber intrusions have involved compromised identities, citing an urgent need for businesses to better protect themselves.

The company has also observed the largest jump in volume of targeted activity to date, with financial services and telecommunications sectors being targeted the most.

“Cyberattacks and ransomware should be words that no SMB should ever worry about, but the failure of traditional antivirus products put these companies at risk. The damages are often a company-ending event, encompassing business disruption, legal action and financial loss,” said Daniel Bernard, Chief Business Officer at CrowdStrike.

“Current SMB cybersecurity offerings leave this vast market segment underserved and underprotected. Falcon Go is changing the game with AI-powered protection, a prosumer user experience and the outcome every business needs — stopping the breach.”
